I started reading "When I Don't Desire God" by John Piper last week. Though, I am just in the second chapter, I feel this book will be excellent! I started writing down notes and quotes that I really like and don't want to forget!

Sacrifices in the path of love were sustained in the New Testament not by will power, but by joyful Hope. 'You sympathized with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions.' Hebrews 10:34
