Just a few fun things....

I don't know about you but my last few weeks have been very full. The last two weekends we have had guests from out of town. This last weekend, my great uncle and aunt, Larry and Diane came for a visit. Uncle Larry is the Executive Director for Global Training for Awana Ministries. The Arkansas State Conference was last weekend and Uncle Larry was the Keynote Speaker. So it was enjoyable to hear him speak on the subject of his latest book on Joseph. This is Uncle Larry's second book he has written. "Rock-Solid Kids" and his newest book "Raising a Modern-Day Joseph"



Saturday Night we went to a concert in Malvern, Arkansas to hear the Christian, Canadian band Downhere play. We have gotten to know Jeremy Thiessen their drummer and his wife, Erin through FamilyLife. It was great to visit with them and see Downhere put on a great show. Another thing I enjoyed is seeing the movie "Fireproof" with my sweet friend, Hope. The movie was excellent! The passion and depth of the characters were great. It had a great message. Everyone should see it.
