The last few days have been GREAT!!! Saturday we went to Katie Davis' feeding program. Katie is a 21 year old with a BIG heart of Africa! She is in the process of adopting 14 girls 2yrs to 12yrs. She has also started Amazina ministies. A child sponsorship program. There was around 150 children at the feeding program and we enjoyed singing and listening to a Bible story then, we served lunch! My job was to serve beans!! A HUGE pot of beans!!! :) Picture below. :)
Monday, was a very special day for me. I was able to visit my family's Compassion International sponsor child. We have been sponsoring him for about 3 years and I have been dreaming about the day when I can meet him!! Well, it did!! We had a amazing time with Kanwagi!! We toured the project and his school and then went to his home to meet his family. Kanwagi has 10 children in his family and his poverty is great. Here are some pics from the visit. :)
